Strategic partnership of Czech leaders – KORA starts cooperation with Spolchemie

KORA, an important distributor of chemical products for industries in Central and Eastern Europe, has started a new fundamental cooperation. It became a distribution partner of one of the oldest chemical productions in the world – Spolchemie.

The company invests significantly in research and innovation, which is confirmed not only by the employment of 150 experts in three research teams, but also by more than 70 patents and many other active applications that Spolchemie currently has on its account.

For KORA, this partnership means new possibilities in the distribution of alkyd resins. KORA will represent the quality and long-standing tradition in the field of alkyd production on the Slovak, Czech and Hungarian markets. The added value of cooperation is the environmental impact, as Spolchemie products are extremely environmentally friendly. High solids, water-dilutable or solvent-free alkyds have a bio component content of up to 92%.

Thanks to their excellent utility properties, good resistance to weathering and the content of substances of natural origin, alkyds are widely used primarily for the production of protective and decorative coatings, paints and varnishes for metal and wooden surfaces.
