Strategic partnership of Czech leaders – KORA announced a new cooperation with Spolchemie

KORA, a major distributor of chemical products for industries in Central and Eastern Europe, has secured a crucial new cooperation. It became a distribution partner of one of the oldest chemical production plants in the world - Spolchemie.

Spolek pro chemickou výrobu (Spolchemie) is a Czech chemical manufacturing company based in Ústí nad Labem. The company was founded in 1856 and to this day is one of the leading European manufacturers of various forms of synthetic resin. The factory's products play an important role in the automotive, construction, energy, the pharmaceutical industry and many other industries. Spolchemie invests heavily in research and innovation, currently employs 150 experts in three research teams and has more than 70 patents.

KORA & Spolchemie partnership brings new opportunities in the distribution of alkyd resins. KORA will represent the quality and long tradition in the production of alkyds on the Slovak, Czech and Hungarian markets. The added value of the cooperation is the environmental impact, as Spolchemie's products are environmentally friendly. Highly dehydrated, water-soluble or solvent-free alkyds have a bio content of up to 92%. Thanks to their excellent performance properties, good weather resistance and content of substances of natural origin, alkyds are widely used, especially for the production of protective and decorative coatings, paints or varnishes for metal and wooden surfaces.
